TYPES OF MASSAGE
There are many types of massage out there, but below are the ones Sarah currently offers — along with the unique benefits of each. This guide is here to help you choose the appointment that’s right for you, and to give you a better idea of what to expect during your treatment.

RELAXATION MASSAGE
The focus of this massage is full-body tension relief. Using soft, soothing pressure and slow, steady movements, a relaxation massage is ideal for anyone looking to take a break from daily stress and reconnect with their body.
Each session includes a guaranteed full-body massage covering the back, shoulders, neck, arms, hands, calves, and backs of the thighs. You can also request to include your feet, scalp, or the front of the legs — just let Sarah know!

Benefits:
-
Deep mental and physical relaxation
-
Increased circulation of blood and lymph fluid
-
Enhanced detoxification (massage can help your kidneys filter fluids more efficiently — from every 40 minutes down to about 35!)

If you’re seeking a calming, head-to-toe reset, this is the massage for you.
INITIAL THERAPUTIC MASSAGE
This appointment is designed for new clients — or for returning clients when it’s been a while, or if Sarah has referred you back for reassessment.

The session begins with a conversation: Sarah will ask questions and may perform some physical assessments to better understand your concerns or injury. From there, she’ll begin creating a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs and recovery goals.

And yes — this appointment absolutely includes hands-on massage!
Once a clear understanding of your needs is established, Sarah will begin treatment during the session, focusing on your areas of concern.
This is a collaborative appointment, blending assessment and treatment, and sets the foundation for your recovery journey.

FOLLOW-UP THERAPUTIC MASSAGE
This is the treatment session that follows your initial therapeutic appointment. By this point, you and Sarah will have a plan in place.
This appointment is focused and personalized — dedicated to working on your specific injury or concern using the agreed-upon approach.

Sarah may offer exercises, stretches, or self-care recommendations, and she’ll always check in to see how things are progressing.
These follow-ups are an important part of long-term recovery and ongoing care.
